I have always loved shooting shallow depth of field shots, but had always simply relied on whatever camera settings happened to be functioning at the time to make those kinds of shots happen. This week has been so fun to get different shots, both with shallow depth of field and deep depth of field. Both are very useful for the different focuses of my shots.
“Potato Truck” – October 11, 2016, 37mm, F4, 1/5000 sec, Sony a7S
“Dusk Trees” – November 9, 2016, F5.6, 60mm, 1/250 sec, Sony a7S
“Spud Truck” – October 11, 2016, F5.6, 42mm, 1/60 sec, Sony a7S
haha these are awesome! I tried taking some photos of the train tracks but I couldn’t get any good photos but these are great. The book shelf photo is really cool and the tall weeds are so awesome the way the light reflects off them. I got one of a train which turned out all right. Breanne,
Really nice photos this week. I especially love the deep depth of field on the railroad track. It looks really nice and really brings the lines into focus as well as the distance between objects. I also really like the grass as a narrow depth of field because of the details against the blur.
Check out my blog for other depth of field pictures:
